SAP Roadwarrior is a sales simulation that was used for SAP sales representatives to learn about mobile technologies.
In nascent areas such as mobile technologies, and in a large corporation like SAP, so much new information and new products are developed that the sales force has difficulties to follow all the updates. To make it easier and more engaging to learn about the newest technologies, a fictitious sales simulation was introduced that put the sales representative in front of simulated customers. In the video interaction the customers - mostly CIOs of fictitious companies - described their problems and asked certain questions on mobile technologies. By responding through multiple choice tests, the players could then close the deal and level up to negotiate with the next customers. At the end of the simulation, the sales representatives were better prepared and knowledgeable for the real customer interaction.
